On May 6, 2016 at 18.00 the State RS(Ya) opera and ballet theater of D.K.Sivtseva-Suorun Omolloon invites the audience to P. I. Tchaikovsky's lyrical opera "Iolanthe" in the 1st action, display will take place within the XV Republican Easter festival of arts "Gold domes". It is P. I. Tchaikovsky's last opera. In 1884 the composer read the translation of the one-act drama executed by F. Miller in verses of the Danish writer G. Gertsa "The daughter of the king Rene". Iolanthe – one of Tchaikovsky's joyful and light works, written on a plot of the ancient tale of the blind daughter of the French king Rene who cured love. P. I. Tchaikovsky's libretto according to the drama G. Gertsa "The daughter of the king Rene". The conductor — the director — the winner of the international competitions Nikolay Pikutsky.
