As reports a source, the minister Ravi Shankar Prasad (Ravi Shankar Prasad) holding in India a certain post in the Ministry of information and TV and radio broadcasting, declared that the AMD company intends to organize in the country semiconductor production together with HSMC.
Officials discussed with chapter which has arrived to India of AMD Liza Suu (Lisa Su) appropriate questions. AMD already concluded the memorandum of understanding with HSMC with a research objective of various options of providing licenses for necessary technologies for production of microprocessors.
Unfortunately, AMD did not open details concerning the plans so it is not clear, which production will be let out by new plant in India.
