Russia and Egypt conduct negotiations on deliveries of helicopters for "Mistrals", the head of Minpromtorg of Egypt Tariq Kabil declared.

On December 30 the senior representative of Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FS VTS) reported that Russia will be able to begin delivery of ship helicopters of the KA brand for "Mistrals" of Naval Forces of Egypt until the end of 2017.
on October 10 Paris and Cairo signed the contract on purchase of two "Mistral" helicopter carriers intending earlier for Russia by Egypt. It was reported that the amount of transaction will make 950 million euros . It is supposed that one of "Mistrals" will serve in the Red Sea, and another will take a position in Mediterranean.
