(NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" - Tatyana Nerovnya) GU Ministry of Emergency Situations across the Nizhny Novgorod Region fined a row legal and officials the sum of 1,1 million rubles for violations in the field of GO and an emergency in 2015. The first deputy chief of GU of Emercom of Russia on the Nizhny Novgorod Region Valery Danilov reported about it in the report.

According to statistical data, in the field of civil defense and protection of the population and territories from emergency situations in the region in 2015 carried out 215 inspections concerning territorial bodies of federal executive authorities, local governments and the organizations. From them - 138 checks in the field of civil defense and 77 checks in the field of protection of the population and territories against emergency situations of natural and technogenic character. On its results experts revealed 559 violations of obligatory requirements of the legislation and issued 97 instructions. 50 legal entities and 59 officials are brought to administrative responsibility for total amount of 1 million 104 thousand 500 rubles.

All in 2015 in the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region there were three emergency situations (road accident in the lake Dzerzhinsk, Kstovsky and Balakhna areas) in which 46 people suffered, from them eight people were lost, 38 people were rescued.

Besides, since the beginning of the fire-dangerous period of 2015 in the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region there were 88 natural fires, the area passed by fire, made 173 hectares. In comparison with the similar period of 2014 the number of fires decreased by 2,55 times, the area passed by fire, decreased by 80,5%. For assistance in suppression of forest fires and protection of settlements, divisions of a federal and fire service of the subject left 41 times, 46 units of fire equipment and 168 people of staff were involved.
