of MOSCOW, 28 Dec - R-sports, Semyon Galkevich. the Ex-goalkeeper of Khabarovsk "Cupid" and Moscow "Spartak" Sergey Borisov declared that the goalkeeper of the Yaroslavl hockey club "Lokomotiv" Alexey Murygin in a season-2015/16 can break a record of the championships of Russia by number of the games "on zero".

Murygin in the current season played 11 matches "on zero", having broken a record of the KHL regular championships (earlier on nine "dry" matches for "regulyarka" carried out American Robert Ash in a season-2008/09 as a part of the St. Petersburg SKA and Russian Vasily Koshechkin as a part of Magnitogorsk "Metallurgist" in a season-2013/14). The record of the championships of Russia in a season-2001/02 was established by Mike Fauntin from Tolyatti "Lada" - 14 matches "on zero". Borisov and Murygin together played for "Amur" in seasons-2009/10 and 2014/15.

"Working with the trainer of goalkeepers of "Locomotive" Sergey Naumov, Murygin really added in equipment, it is visible to the naked eye, - Borisov declared to R-Sport agency. - Murygin spends an excellent season, plays exactly all matches, and let to it, maybe, throw, but it not so much, on the contrary, creates nervousness, because you not always in game. If "Locomotive" plays further the same hockey that now, Murygin can break Fauntin's record. In any case, I trust in it, I hope that Murygin leaves a trace in the history".

"Certainly, it should be noted "Locomotive" defense, it very fine looks. Residents of Yaroslavl a little that allow the rival and when allow - everything is cleaned by Murygin. I would not hurry to call him the best Russian goalkeeper, after all at us there is a lot of good goalkeepers but very few people so help defense. Residents of Yaroslavl can threaten on the good results in this season", - continued Borisov.
