As were found out by a consequence, on April 5, 2014 Alexey Surat armed with the unregistered self-made gun, by car of the fellow villager went to the wood to prepare firewood.
- On the road Surat saw running on a roadside tarbagana. Obviously knowing that the Mongolian groundhog is a rare animal and is included in the Red List Russian Federation, Surat got the gun and asked the driver to stop the car. It jumped out of the car, aimed and shot. The small animal fell. Thereby, the damage for 86625 rubles is caused to fauna, - commented in region prosecutor's office.
For illegal storage of firearms and poaching the court sentenced the inhabitant of the republic to one year of restriction of freedom. Besides, it will have to indemnify the material loss caused by the actions, having paid an overall cost of the small animal killed with it.
