In Turkey the former champion of Europe Sinan Samil Sam died

the Turkish superheavyweight Sinan Samil Sam (31-4-1, 16 KO), finished career in 2008, died in one of hospitals of Istanbul where him treated for hepatic insufficiency, reports BoxingScene. The boxer died at the age of 41 year. Funeral is planned for October 31 in Ankara.
Itself turned into professional boxing in 2000. The title of the champion of Europe which he won in fight with Paolo Vidoz in July, 2008 became its highest achievement. After that duel Sinan Samil Sam declared completion of career in protest at shortage of support of system of amatorsky boxing of Turkey.

In the first 18 fights on the pro ring it won victories: among its victims there were such boxers, as Pzhemislav Saleta, Danny Williams and Julius Frantsis.
the First defeat to it was inflicted by Juan Carlos Gómez in September, 2003, in the following fight he lost Luana Crasnichi. Met Itself on a ring and Russian Oleg Maskayev (in November, 2005) to whom lost on points in fight for a rank of the applicant for a title of the world champion of WBC.
