The European responses of diesel Volkswagens will begin in 2016

The group of Volkswagen will withdraw in 28 countries of EU 8,5 million cars with the EA 189 series diesel, including 2,4 million to Germany — such is the requirement of Federal motor transportation department of KBA. Outside EU the situation will be still separately studied to be defined, what engines can demand a response. Necessary procedures are now studied. Company declared that works with cars of clients will begin in January, 2016. Generally it will be software replacement, but in some cases — and power supply system details. Such motors will start correcting from next September.
