Experts of FKU Uprdor "Yenisei" found a way of protection of roads from destruction because of permafrost thawing. Process of thawing of permafrost can be suspended. Innovation it is planned to apply at overhaul of the federal highway of M-54 "Yenisei" in the territory of the Republic of Tyva, reported in FKU press service Uprdor "Yenisei".
Design and budget documentation on overhaul of six sites of the route M-54 "Yenisei" with a general extent of 44 km is developed by p already now. In the course of development of projects experts pay special attention to a site with sags near the pass "Solar" from Kyzyl (Tyva) on the 670th km of the highway M-54. In the course of researches the island permafrost here is found. It also became the reason of formation of sags. Designers made the decision to protect an embankment sole from hit of a surface water by means of waterproofing materials. It will allow to stabilize a road bed and to stop process of a podtaivaniye of permafrost.
