Memorial opening "The victim at protection of the Fatherland"

On June 27th the ceremony of opening of a memorial "The victim took place at protection of the Fatherland" on the 561st kilometer of the federal highway of M-11 "Neva" to Novgorod Region. The memorial was created in memory of tragic destiny of fighters and commanders of the Second shock army of the Volkhov front. In 1941-1942 in this area passed heavy fighting.
