Today - the World day of soccer

Today the World day of soccer is celebrated. The main game of mankind appeared in the XIX century in England, and in our country the first recorded match took place on October 12, 1897: in St. Petersburg local teams — the St. Petersburg circle of fans of sports and Vasileostrovsky society of football players (0:6) met. The first known match in the territory of the Tula province took place on July 10, 1910 — in Petrovka of the Aleksinsky district football players of Petrovka and Aleksin played.
