Glencore Int AG and Norsk Hydro ASA closed on December 1 the transaction on purchase 30% of actions of aluminous plant Alunorte and 45% of actions of the producer of Mineracão Rio do Norte (MRN) bauxites. Glencore Int AG will acquire the right for sale production of Alunorte and MRN is proportional to the share in assets, but will not be the operator of any of them.
