Russian Federation did not receive places in executive council of Organization on prohibition of Chemical weapon following the results of vote

Russian Federation did not receive places in executive council of Organization on prohibition of Chemical weapon for 2024, follows from results of vote which took place within the 28th session of Conference of the countries – participants of the organization. Russian Federation received 65 votes, at a necessary minimum in 66, and because of it lost the place, transfers information agency "ITAR-TASS". From the block Eastern Europe chose three countries: Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine.
