EU reduced purchases to Russian Federation steel semi-finished products

The European plants not completely took up the quota provided to them on purchase to Russian Federation slabs from October of the 2022nd till September, 2023. Such data follow from statistics of Eurostat, the published newspaper "Kommersant". For specified time of the country Europe got 2,8 million tons of the Russian steel semi-finished products. The size of a quota was higher — 3,75 million tons. Thus specified purchasing volume entirely closes requirements of rolling plants of NLMK located to Belgium, France, Denmark and Italy, it is noted in material.
