Armenia and Iran intend to expand deliveries according to the "Gas in exchange for the Electric Power" program

Armenia and Iran intend to increase cooperation scales according to the "Gas in exchange for the Electric Power" program, the minister of territorial managements declared and infrastructures Armenia Gnel Sanosyan ". We annually import from Iran 365 million cubic meter of gas and according to the available arrangement we deliver in an exchange the electric power in the ratio 1 to 3. Several months ago we signed contract about extension of this agreement till 2030 which also gives the chance to increase gas import from Iran to Armenia and, respectively, to increase electric power export (from Armenia to Iran).
