Russian Federation notified Japan on an exit from contracts on reduction of the nuclear weapon

Russian Federation officially declared Japan exit date from the agreement on reduction of the nuclear weapon. As reported in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the agreement between the countries will stop working on May 21, 2024. In the ministry noted that the Russian side notified Japanese on intention to terminate the agreement between the governments Russian Federation and Japan still on November 21.
