The French fleet ordered seven new corvettes

The French fleet marked order on seven new corvettes of the Patrouilleur Hauturier project within implementation of the OPV program ("The patrol surface ships"). The total cost contracts makes €900 million. As it is specified in the Naval News edition, the new ships will come to replacement to the Avisos and Flamant projects which representatives serve now in country Naval Forces, but are in bad condition.
