Live are obliged to remember. Ladoga tragedy on September 17, 1941

Some years in the middle of September, on the bank of Ladoga in the Lake Ladoga station settlement, near the Osinovetsky beacon, there takes place mourning action "The requiem over Ladoga". The memorable action is devoted to the little-known page of defense of Leningrad - the tragedy of the barge No. 752 which has sunk on September 17, 1941 during the most whole gale on Lake Ladoga. Onboard the barge over 1200 people were lost, having made this drama episode of blockade of Leningrad one of the largest victims on number of sea accidents.
