"Puritans" in Mariinsk

Bellini's opera "Puritans" will be heard on November 30 in the Concert hall of the Maryinsky Theater. The composition which often call bel canto masterpiece, Albina Shagimuratova, Guseynov Magerram, Mikhaylov Alexander and Aleksey Markov will present. For a conductor's stand there will be Valery Gergiev. "Puritans" became Bellini's last creation. The opera is considered one of the most difficult for execution for all history of a genre. The world premiere of the composition took place in January, 1835 in the Italian opera in Paris. In five years performance put in Petersburg.
