Delivery of the ice breaker under construction at the Vyborg shipbuilding plant postponed to 2028

The contract on construction was signed at the end of 2021 As it became known, terms of delivery of the 18 MWt linear diesel electric ice breaker because of a redesign and replacement of the equipment is postponed to 2028. The director general of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport (subordinated to Rosmorrechflot) Sergei Pylin in conversation with "Interfax" specified that today no difficulties with construction of the ice breaker are present.
