Today, on November 14, in mass media there was information that the Ukrainian athlete Bilan Arthur went to the fishing World Cup to Netherlands and, without wishing to come back home, ran away from a national team arrangement to the brother. Such methods were practiced by some athletes in the USSR. So, on September 24, 1979 figure skaters Belousova Ludmila and Protopopov Oleg, being with the Leningrad ice ballet on tours to Switzerland, asked a political asylum and refused to come back to Soviet Union.
