Spain increases LNG import from Russian Federation

Russian Federation strengthens positions as one of the chief suppliers of energy resources to the Spanish companies. According to the Spanish energy companies Enagas, purchases the liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russian Federation in January-October, 2023 grew by 43% in comparison with the similar period of 2022. Following the results of ten months of this year, Russian Federation became the third largest supplier of LNG to Spain, conceding only to Algeria and United States of America.
