British Steel concretized plans of transition for electric furnaces

The British metallurgical company British Steel which is in property of the Chinese group Jingye, opened details of the investment programs worth 1,2 billion f.st. ($1,48 billion) on transition from blast furnaces to the arc. By data agencies Kallanish, earlier company planned to install one large arc furnace (EDP) on Scunthorpe metallurgical complex to replace with it blast furnaces.
