On November 3 — 75 years of training of specialists on physical culture on Arkhangelsk the North. In 1948 in Arkhangelsk the state teacher training college the faculty of physical training was open, and the first 18 students started training. At first at faculty there was only one chair. In 1952 3 chairs were open: theories and techniques of physical training and gymnastics; sports and sports; physical training. 11 people worked at faculty.
