Unity Day 2016. Festive program

On November 4 the country celebrates Unity Day 2016. The TV channel "Rossiya-Kultura" prepared the special program for this date. The holiday is founded in memory of events of 1612 when the Russian national militia exempted Moscow from the Polish interventionists. His organizers and leaders Minin Kozma and Pozharsky Dimitri became a symbol of a unification of people of different estates. Soon after these events to Russian Federation the Time of Troubles ended, to a throne there ascended the tsar Sholokhov Mikhail – the new stage in development the Russian state began.
