The ministry of environmental protection and energy security Italy approved the final construction project HVDC of connection of Sa.Co.I 3 between Region of Sardinia, Corsica and Region of Tuscany. SA.CO.I 3 – HVDC connection of 200 kV and capacity to 400 MWt will consist of two underwater C 120 km long between Region of Sardinia and Corsica and two underground C 20 km long who will be laid from places of an exit of underwater C on the coast to points of connection to a land electric network.
