Last night at the age of 67 years the poetess and the translator Amanda Ayzpuriyete died, the writer Arnaud Undze reported on the page in Facebook (zapreshchena v RF). Ayzpuriyete was born in 1956 in Jurmala. Studied philology and philosophy at Latvian university (1974–1979), and then continued education at Literary institute Maxim Gorky's name in Moscow. After that it worked as the poetic consultant in the Avots magazine and Aspazija newspaper editorial office. Amanda Ayzpuriyete published eight collections of own verses and prose and translated into Latvian verses Tsvetaeva Marina, Akhmatova Anna...
