The profit of Mondi Group was reduced by 261 million euros

The Austrian producer of environmentally friendly packings and papers Mondi Group reported about financial results of the third quarter 2023. In July-September indicators were influenced by the remained difficult market conditions and a weak macroeconomic situation. Demand in the market remained sluggish at lower average selling prices which were substantially softened with lower costs of raw materials and rigid control over the fixed costs.
