Mass media: To Spain investigate death of the biochemist studying a fatal disease

University Barcelona is investigated by death of the biochemist who studied a rare neurologic disease - Kreyttsfelda-Jacob's illness, reports Spanish newspaper "El Pais". Sources of the newspaper told that in laboratory at medical faculty of hospital Lyobregat the scientist got down to work in January, 2018. During collaboration in spinal liquid substances for diagnostics of fast-proceeding dementias were revealed. It is noted that at the end of fall of 2020 the biochemist felt unwell, and then asked holiday, having in parallel told to colleagues that its symptoms are compatible to Kreyttsfeldta-Jacob's illness...
