The head of Srbiyagaz commented on an excise on gas from Russian Federation

Belgrade, 19 Oct – Federal state unitary enterprise RAMI "RIA Novosti". Introduction by Bulgaria an excise on gas transit from Russian Federation is attempt of the West "to punish" Russian Federation because of Ukraine, and also to advance in the region the liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the detriment of the countries Europe, the head of Srbiyagaz Dushan declared. Bulgaria established on October 13 an excise at a rate of 20 levov (10 euros) on each megawatt-hour of transit of the Russian gas. The new payment for transit makes approximately the fifth part of the current base price of TTF gas (50 euros for megawatt-hour).
