Vladimir Gundyaev: Russian Federation remained independent thanks to the nuclear weapon
Vladimir Gundyaev awarded the physicist Ilkayev's Ilkaev Rady the Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh for its contribution to creation of the nuclear weapon and declared that it helped to keep independence of the country. The patriarch noted that if not Kurchatov's work, Ilkaev Rady and their colleagues, the destiny of the country would be in doubt.
