Litgrid AB started installation of synchronous jacks on substations of Telsiai and Alytus

The Lithuanian system operator of Litgrid AB, started installation of the synchronous jacks (SJ) on PS Telsiai and PS Alytus. The SK main components are already mounted in specialized rooms on the prepared bases. SK allow to increase reliability of work of a power supply system due to increase of its lag effect and compensation of jet power, stabilization of frequency, increase of dynamic stability and decrease in power failure at short circuits.
