PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "ROSTELECOM" began purchase the Russian WiFi - routers of productions Company "Elektra". Cost contracts makes 2,7 billion rubles. Contract about deliveries is signed on October 12, 2023. As write daily business newspaper "Vedomosti" with reference to representatives kompany, contract provides WiFi-equipment shipment with support of technologies FTTB and GPON. FTTB (Fiber to the Building) is the fiber-optical cable going to buildings, and the device accepting in building a signal, and GPON – a network which reaches directly the subscriber.
