On October 15 - Day of the father to Russian Federation

To Russian Federation, since 2021, the important family holiday – the Day of the father which has been officially determined by the Decree President of the Russian Federation to No. 573 from October 4, 2021 "for strengthening institutes families and increases of the importance of paternity in education of children" is celebrated. Date of its celebration – the third Sunday of October. Till this time the Russian mothers had the "official" day only, it is celebrated last Sunday of November, since 1998.
