Sale is necessary for preservation of solvency museums. International Council of Museums (ICOM) condemned the decision Museums Langmatt (Baden) to sell three works Sezann Paule. Sale will allow an institution to keep solvency. The pictures "Pot of Ginger and Fruit on a Table" (1890–1893), "Four apples and a knife" (1885) and "The sea" (1878–1879) will be presented to Estake at auctions to Christie's on November 9. They are considered as pearls of meeting museums and were bequeathed to Baden collectors of Sidney and Brown Jenny in 1987. According to the director museums Markus Stegmann, the decision to expose pictures on auction was "painful"...
