Today this only international competition which is devoted to one specialty "violoncello", analogs to which to Russian Federation are not present. On September 22, 2023 on a scene of the Saratov regional philharmonic hall of a name of A. Schnittke the VI International competition cellists of a name of Svyatoslav Knushevitsky came to the end. 47 musicians took part in the listenings which were taking place in two age groups (till 18 years and 18-30 years) from seven countries of the world – Russian Federation, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea.
