Angola entered a visa-free regime with Russian Federation since September 29, 2023, the ambassador reported on October 3 to daily social and political business newspaper "Izvestiya" Russian Federation in Angola Vladimir Nikolaevich Tararov. Initiative put forward and accepted Council of ministers which is the principal executive body in the republic. It is noted that between the countries negotiations on opening of a direct flight between Moscow and Luanda are conducted.
