Forest fires in Colombia threatened the million-plus city of Cali

Strong forest fires in Colombia threatened Cali with the population about three million people. About it reports Spanish newspaper "El Pais". According to the edition, large-scale forest fires registered around Altos-de-Menga in northern part of Cali on September 21. Ignitions were so strong that the city fire service was compelled to ask for help in suppression the city population.
