Petra Diamonds Ltd reduced annual revenue by 42%

September 15. information agency "Interfaks" - Petra Diamonds Ltd, developing fields of diamonds in South Africa, lowered revenue in 2023 financial year (ended on July 1, 2023) by 42%, to $353 million, company reported. The volume of sales decreased by 33%, to 2,33 million carat. In June of Petra postponed the most part of sales within regular tenders because of demand recession in the market. Petra production in a year decreased by 20%, to 2,67 million carat as the Williamson field did not conduct production within 7 months.
