State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan supported release of owners of electric cars from transport taxes

Deputies of State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan unanimously supported the bill of introduction of tax privileges for owners of electric cars. The bill, for five years releasing owners of electric cars from payment transport taxes, is adopted at once in the first and third readings. From January 1 of the 2024th to December 31, 2028 it is offered to exempt completely from payment transport taxes owners of automobile cars, motorcycles, buses and the trucks equipped with only electric motor (not hybrids).
