Latvia and Estonia will buy ZRK of average range of IRIS-T. On September 11 in the German city of Retenbakh Ministers of Defence Latvia Inara Murnietse and Estonia Hanno Pevkur signed the framework agreement on purchase ZRK of average range of IRIS-T productions the German companies "Diehl". It is already declared that IRIS-T are capable to prevent threats in a radius up to 40 km and at the height up to 20 km. Joint purchase one type of systems will allow Latvia and Estonia to simplify mutual coordination of defense of the region of Baltics.
