Analysis DNA helped to learn an origin of thousands of the slaves rescued by British in the XIX century

Scientists from Kopengagensky university with help analyses DNA revealed an origin of the enslaved Africans released by British, and then thrown on the remote island in the Atlantic Ocean. Research is published in The American Journal of Human Genetics. United Kingdom received huge benefit from trades slaves. During the period from 1562 to 1807 the country used 2,7 million enslaved Africans for developments economy to United Kingdom and in the colonies abroad.
