Roberto Rozetti: we want that the number of interventions of VAR was reduced

The chief judge UEFA Roberto Rozetti spoke positive influence of VAR system on soccer. "The VAR system became part of soccer. Now we cannot imagine top-level game without VAR. When the system was introduced in a season, it was involved in 55 matches. In last season of VAR it was used already in more than 1800 matches. In VAR system huge work is enclosed. Though in some situations intervention of VAR is necessary, we want that its quantity was reduced. We are convinced that judges have to remain in the center of game and make decisions independently.
