The British scientists investigated the remains of 177 medieval people which have been dug out in English Hereford. They found out that the majority of the adults become victims of plague and buried in collective burials, died aged from 15 till 35 years. Thus, having compared to a profile of mortality of people from a parish necropolis of the same city, researchers noted excess plague mortality among youth aged from 15 till 25 years.
