"Complaints went in good volume". RKN begins blocking of sites for LGBT content

Since September 1, 2023 to Russian Federation the order Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications about criteria of promotion of LGBT, floor and pedophilia change started working. Department suggested citizens to send complaints to an illegal content through a feedback form. The deputy head of RKN Vadim Alekseevich Subbotin explained that the first notices with the requirement to remove materials breaking the law were sent to Internet resources in the first day of action of the order, on September 1.
