Iceland decided to resume commercial whaling

Government Iceland decided to resume commercial whaling. New measures will allow to catch and kill polosatikov. According to the country authorities, the new regulations will allow to use the modern equipment and catching methods to reduce sufferings of mammals. In turn, ecoactivists called it a huge step back, writes newspaper "The Guardian". The ban of the ministry on catching of whales was accepted more than 30 years ago.
