According to meteorologists and to attestations of eyewitnesses, on Wednesday till 19:00 the thunder-storm in Latvia affected mainly Seliya and vicinities Daugavpils.  In Aknīste Municipality of Jekabpils, and also in the Ritsky and Sauksky volost the hail diameter some centimeters dropped out. After 19 hours the thundercloud came nearer to Aizkraukle and to Koknesa. In vicinities Daugavpils also there passed a hailstorm. On Daugavpils observing station of the Latvian center of environment, geology and meteorology till 19:00 the amount of precipitation reached 37,6 millimeters, or 52% of monthly norm.
