Researchers from faculty of physics Hamburg university observed a quantum state which was theoretically predicted more than 50 years ago by Japanese theorists, but still escaped detection. "High tech" tells how it worked well and why it is important. Having created artificial atom on a superconductor surface, researchers managed to couple electrons of a so-called quantum point. Thus they created the smallest possible version of a superconductor. Results of research are published in Nauchny zhurnal Nature. As usual behave eklektrony? Usually electrons push away each other...
