The team of scientists from Makhidol's University Makhidol developed an inexpensive and eco-friendly method of production of packings for food products from starch of pineapple stalks. Results of work are published in the Polymers magazine. Due to the problem of use of plastic which do harm to environment because of impossibility of biological decomposition, experts look for new approaches which could replace plastic in household tasks.
