The Russian grand masters did not leave in the World Cup quarterfinal on chess. Today Ian Aleksandrovich Nepomnyashchy lost in 1/8 finals on a tie-break Santosha Vidita from India. Earlier in 1/16 finals left Petr Svidler and Yesipenko Andrey, in 1/32 – Daniil Dubov and Nikita Kirillovich Vityugov, in 1/64 – Alexander Grishchuk, Nesterov Arseny, Mikhail Aleksandrovich Antipov and Davide Paravyan. The World Cup of World Chess Federation is held since 2000. For the first time in the history of tournament none of the Russian grand masters did not get to a quarterfinal.
